Welcome to the information age, where everywhere you go you are bombarded with media. If you're an "internet person" there are online ad pop ups, social media outlets, the living socials, the groupons, blog giveaways to cloud your focus. If you're a real world observer you fall victim to flyers, the billboard, television commercials all telling you, the consumer, to do something. Read this, buy this, win this – it's overwhelming, isn't it?
But what about the messages that you do listen to? What makes you choose one laundry detergent over the other, or notice a particular company's pop up store display instead of another's in the same vicinity? Who gets your trust, and why? It's called aesthetic, people. "Aesthetics is the language of feeling, and in a society that's information-rich and time-poor, people value feeling more than information." So for you that means this: we get down to the core of your identity, we find the attributes that separate you from the next guy, and then we communicate your uniqueness to the world through a little avenue called Design. Creating the tools needed to promote your brand is our passion. Now you're probably wondering who is JStreet? In 2005, we were just a business making custom designed trucker hats in a Texas college dorm room. From that came filling wholesale apparel orders for different businesses and organizations (Carleton College, Howard University, and Coach America to name a few), but there was still a desire to design. After an internship at New York based Ad Agency Oglivy & Mather, Creative Director Julian Streete cultured a love for branding. By 2009 there were several additions to JStreet – Art Director Aaron Wheeler, Creative John Searles, and Web professional J5 – and there you have it. We are JStreet Branding. |
